Google Launched second Cloud Region in India

Google Cloud launched second Cloud Region in INDIA. This is quite promising for all the Private and Public sector organizations. This will help Google to get more customers. It will also help existing customers to achieve lower latency with higher performance. This region will also work as In-country Disaster Recovery (DR) region when combined with Mumbai region. It is based out of Delhi, whereas the First cloud region is in Mumbai. The Mumbai region started its operations in fourth quarter of 2017.

Talking about the new region, this region has three availability zones. This region offers services like Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run & CloudSQL. At Present, Google Cloud is present in 26 regions, out of which eight regions are in Asia Pacific.

Google Cloud Region in Mumbai & Delhi are named as asia-south1 and asia-south2 respectively.

3. Melbourne (Australia),
4. Paris (France),
5. Milan (Italy),
6. Santiago (Chile),
7. Madrid (Spain) and
8. Turin (Italy).
